Addiction
is anything that has become stronger than your willpower to change.
I know how it feels to be chained by addiction, creating a feeling of
helplessness to do anything about it. The salt,
fat and crunch of junk food promise emotions of fulfillment. Tangible potato chips replacing
an intangible God. Emotional emptiness is the source of addiction.
Dependency on pleasure to temporarily numb feelings of hopelessness.
The
good news is, whether junk food or heron, addiction can be
broken.
Take time and read all we have to offer here. And we will be
praying for your deliverance. Remember, Jesus went to great cost for your freedom.
