Definition of compulsive behavior:
A psychological state where a person acts against their own will or
conscious desires in which to behave.
Signs of Compulsive
Eating:
Always thinking about food.
Eat to feel better.
Not enjoying what you are eating.
Continue to eat even after feeling full.
Become anxious while eating.
Daydream or worry while eating.
Overeat.
Eating franticly, barely chewing food.
Hiding food.
Feelings of guilt when you eat.
Eat secretly.
Binging after a diet.
Hunger makes you feel vulnerable and uneasy.
If you
relate to three or more of the following, than you probably have
struggles with eating compulsively. The very fact you are here
says that you want to be free. God wants to set you free so you
are in control of your diet, not the other way around. We are

Overeating can simply be an attempt to fill a spiritual emptiness inside
due to a lack of intimacy with God. We are, after all, wired for
spiritual intimacy with our Creator. Developing an ever-present
closeness with God will cause many unhealthy habits to fall by the way
side.
